Wow the first quarter final, Portugal - Germany, was a thrilling game. It could've really gone either way, but in the end Germany was a stronger team. You can see that Germany usually 'grows' in the course of a tournament, much better play than in previous matches. Portugal was quite good, but the teamplay and the good passes faded away in the last half hour. Thrilling last few minutes though.

So Germany is the first half-finalist. Who's next?

That was a great game. Was good that Portugal tried to make it interesting, but their defensive weakness on setpieces was exposed rather handily. Those first 2 German goals were... awesome. The tic-tac-tic-tac-tic-tac-toe was so much fun to watch. I'm really curious to see how far Croatia will go though.

Well, RedLeader, not far

. This was a very boring game today. I thought the Turkish goal was so awesome, good for them. Everybody was talking about Germany - Croatia, when I was thinking: there's still a minute to play, anything can happen! And so it did. This tournament there have been so many goals in the extra time, you would've though they'd learned something by now. Anyway, good penalties by the Turks. Germany - Turkey is going to be interesting

Anyway, the game must have been very emotional for the fans of Croatia and Turkey.
Turkey prevailed.

Yesterday's game, Germany vs. Portugal was much better.
It's a pity that Christiano Ronaldo did not deliver.
German machine worked better this time.

What a great team Portugal has.
Congratulations to all fans from Portugal!

I would much prefer the semifinal between Portugal and Germany,
but it was not possible because they already played in the same quarterfinal game.

P.S.
This is my humorous farewell to the teams which do not make to the semifinals.

Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Euro'08 Goodbye

Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na
Hey Hey Hey
Goodbye

Something went wrong, don't ask me why,
I am just singing Hey, Hey Goodbye
Common Head-Fi'ers, don't get me wrong
Let's sing together the following song

Na Na Hey Hey Kiss ... Goodbye
or
Na Na Hey Hey Goobye
or
Na Na Hey Hey Goobye
or
Crazy Frog - Na Na Na, Hey Hey

I have recently started following soccer, and if you appreciate the game it is extremely exciting. Does anyone know if there is a channel I can order that has all the regular season European teams games?

Croatia vs. Turkey was a pretty boring game for 118 minutes.

Germany vs. Turkey is going to be a good game. Berlin might not be the best place to watch it though.

Too bad Tuncay and Arda will be suspended for the semis. At least Aurelio will be back. Good luck to them, they've showed a lot of spirit.
