Not sure about battle fields, cos so far I didn't see any of it, maybe Portugal-Turkey, but the rest wasn't impressive at all, blaaahhh...

I am not an big expert of football, so here we go. I think Russia will be in the final, otherwise Putin send them to Siberia

The second team aren't clear for me, maybe Germany or Portugal.

That was one ugly-ass game between France and Romania. Romania did accomplish their mission though, it was obvious this was exactly what they were aiming for. That static game with haphazard balls thrown forward, with a forlorn hope one of them may hit Mutu in the head and bounce into the goal, reminds me of the "quality" of play Piturca had all his career... Great job drawing with mighty France I guess, but with Italy and the Netherlands coming up, one wonders who they would score against...
Awesome performance from the Dutch, superb game, reminds one of the glory times of the Mechanical Orange, or the '88 European Champs.

How right you are.

Excellent counter-attacking performance from the Dutch.

Finally Materazzi's team was severly punished.

I watched the whole game in a burrito/enchilada place.
Not a single person out of, say, 30-40 people paid any attention to the game.
There were white Americans and also quite a few guys from Mexico in the restaurant.
This is America!

I felt like a freaky Penguin in a Desert watching the game.

I could not resist and from time to time I was clapping and shouting:
Que Gooooooooooolaso!!! and Goooooooooooooooooooal!!!

The Spanish were fantastic this evening and little Fabregas got his first international goal. Great hat-trick for Villa.

Normal service resumed....Wimbledon (I mean Greece) lose to an under-strength Sweden.
