I believe that inside the P-to-S converter for the ER-4P is a 75 ohm resistor for each channel (left and right). The ER4XR cannot be converted to an SR because it's an entirely different driver between the two versions.

the green dampers(used in the er4 series) are 1500ohm. and the impedance does follow the color code, red 2200ohm, brown 1000ohm ...
