I just received by Etymotic Er6i's in the mail and opened them up and I have some questions...

1. In the package there were 2 pairs of triple-flanged eartips and 1 pair of foam ear tips. The two pairs of triple-flanged eartips appear identical in shape and size. I was expecting to find more than just two types of eartips, was I wrong in expecting that?

2. I got the four triple-flanged eartips mixed up, and they look the same so I cant tell which two go together. There are numbers on them and they read x-6, x-2, x-6, and x-7. Which ones go together?

1. There are various packaging on ER6i, and each type of package has slightly different accessories. For Tri-flanges: if you cut off the smallest flange on top, you'll get a big bi-flange; Vise versa, if you cut off the biggest flange, you'll get a small bi-flange.

2. If they look the same in your eyes, feel the same in your hands, and seal the same way into your ears, they are the same.

Plus you'll have a set of single flanges for a squirrel or mouse.
