I just changed the filters in my ER-6i's and now am experiencing a bit of distortion in the left channel. I regularly clean the tips (soft rubber) and nozzle so I'm wondering if it could possibly be some debris the got into the enclosure while I was replacing the filters. Should I try replacing the filters again?

Pull both filter out with fingers, than listen to the IEm as normal to check for distortion. If it still exists, than you'll know it isn't the problem of the filter.

good tip ^^^ it is possible you may have damaged the filter putting it in, or something got in thier while it was out. or the filter is loose for some reason, or you re-used a filter.

and finally...they might be broke.
