The best match for the R10 are likely the Takatsuki 300B. You might get away with ACME.

You can choose from

Takatsuki 300B $1700 matched pair
WE 300B Reissue $1500 matched pair
TJ Fullmusic 300B/Q or 300B around $700 matched pair but you probably can't get new one for this one. Second hand one around $600 per pair. This is the stock tube of Shangri-La

Haven't used any 300B worse than Fullmusic 300B/Q but the Takatsuki will definitely be the best for most people. I personally own Takatsuki and WE.

Because the supplies truly are limited. Believe they are using a rare wood to make these. Not really honest to post that supplies are limited if they’re not. Although they’re not price gouging, limited quantities usually brings higher demand and higher prices. The nice thing is most likely the value of these headphone will increase later on the used market since sort of a collectible. Not sure if being a clone will keep it from really being worth something but who knows. My L3000 and PS-1 headphones both sold for a lot more than I paid and I also got to use the L3000 for over a decade.
