I'm buying one of those Crystal dacs if I can. Sending a mail to my chinese contact to see if he can help me. So, there's enough interest here to purchase multiple units? Might be possible to see if lower prices are available for a group buy.

there was a thread few weeks ago on that board regarding the best chinese DAC and zhaolu was rated one of the best. there was one other unit but i forgot the name

also dont forget the 富和(ART&MUSIC) line of amps...M650、AM650 PRO、AM650（for dt880）series is popular for amping HD600 etc...

ps. WXPH-20 dedicated K1000 amp is designed/built by a K1000 enthusiast but the feed back hasnt been too well...it drives K1000 decently though. was gonna buy a ART&MUSIC k1000 amp but its just too much trouble to get it over here and has no user feed backs.

Well, for me personally, I dislike the Zhaolu alot. Also, it's a light unit and the Crystal dac weighs 7 KG. And we all know bigger is better.

Yes, the Art&Music line is also somewhere on Erji. Very nice amps from the looks of it. I'll update the post with lots of other toys tonight or so.

There are people who'd definitely try some of these. Some have the budget to fulfill their expectations, the others would gladly forget about famous brands and have some gear from China. There are quite many chinese head-fiers yet not enough feedback!
