To be fair though, with respect to the other amp builders that I've dealt with, they have full time jobs and only work on the amps after work or on the weekends. It's a passion that sees them doing them. Notable ones that comes to mind are Glenn and Tomas of Ultrasonic Studios. Both of whom I can only shared how incredibly talented and passionate they are in making tube amps, despite having full time jobs. I am just fortunate to have met them in my head-fi journey. Someday though my own journey will end because I need to devote more time to my wife and soulmate.... who has been patient and loving despite my obsessive love for tube amps.

Official photos of Destiny but she can't sing yet.... because Eric still have to do soldering work underneath. I should have the amp by next weekend. :beerchug::beyersmile::L3000::darthsmile::gs1000smile::ksc75smile:

Amp is almost done ! Putting in a ALPS blue velvet smooth volume potentiometer.

Will be collecting it at about the same time of LCD4 arrival.

Destiny is home and Eric has formally recognised the name for ordering purpose. Destiny is his standard 300b amp with headphones out provision, interstage transformers in place of capacitors, upgraded hardware which includes CMC style tube sockets, RCA inputs and speakers out. Also comes with double chokes to minimise noise.

First my picture of Destiny before she's powered on. I've straight away removed Eric's included rectifier and replaced it with my Made in Holland (Sittard) GZ34 with Genalex Gold Lion PX300 and GE 6AE7 / 6EM7 driver tubes.

She's a beauty! Does she sing as well as she looks?

Destiny has 2 days of burn in and the Gold Lion 300b tubes has 5 days of burn in by Eric the master tube amp builder.

First listen with LCD4 is astounding. 2nd listen with He1000se left me grinning happily. This is too good to be true. Finally an amp more than powerful enough to drive my newly arrived LCD4 and volume is only at 9am or 1/4 turn. My ears prefers He1000se with Destiny but it's early days and I've only gone through a few songs.

To share 2 more pictures before I retire to the cave for more ecstasy.... with a sign on my study door that says 'Gone Fishing' .
