But I am too busy with experimenting 2 of my best tube amps and best tubes combination. Ulimate as preamp and Odyssey as amp. Holographic presentation, great tube tone but not sloppy. It is a very precise and refined tone. GEC L63 / Psvane KT88 meshed with Telefunken EL11 and EL12 sepz. Nuanced and great timbre. I will have to defer using GEC VR135 till later because this sound so good.

I think I will sell everything and buy this but I can't afford 8 x GEC KT88. I suppose they have McIntosh KT88. No idea what that is.

I imagine a matched octet of GEC anything would be quite rare
Much better with the myriad of possibilities afforded by the McChanson UltimatE

I did but most of them died because I spend too much time on tubes. Now I am left with Sydney Rock Orchids and they are gorgeous. Trying to restart my orchid collection again. It was the hobby before I got into head-fi.
