The GEC KT88 are too precious, so they are retired from duty and will be replaced by the Psvane KT88 Tii.

I seem to have a slight preference on the ECC34 over the GEC L63 but it's still early to tell. I have no idea how many hours both tubes have but they look like new although advertised as used.

I can hear a difference swapping to the Psvane KT88. The GEC KT88 is definitely better. Right now using ECC34 and Psvane KT88 Tii and this could be my best picture.

Ladies and gentlemen, an Ultimate that can run ECC34 and GEC KT88. It can't get better than that. Press the buy button now and wait for 3 months. :wink:

Now will someone please donate a ECC32 to me. Tyvm.

All the tubes in my stash are worth more than Super Ultimate but what I am hearing now is i n c r e d i b l e.

I am ready to go on my vacation now. I have seen Mt Everest peak !

GEC L63 and Mullard ECC34 go toe to toe. Hard to pick a favourite. If you can't be happy with either of these, you have a problem.

Chilling with GEC L63 and Psvane KT88 Tii. On hindsight, I should have just bought GEC L63 and the ECC3* tubes and forget about all the other drivers. These are just so much better.

As photogenic as the UltimatE is, I'd love to see some photos of the life inside, i.e. the wiring... 😀
