EL50 and EL51 and 4654K are interesting pentodes too for Ultimate but I am choke up to my throat with tubes. I will let others experiment with those.

4654K are EL39 with a different base.

I guarantee it will be there but I didn't say when. Getting to USA by foot will take some time. Be patient !

7A4 vs ECC35? Winner?

ECC35 no buts no ifs but 7A4 is a pretty good tone. Very good indeed. However Peter you can't use it in the wooden Ultimate. There is no room.
