All I want is just one pair of speakers from Kenrick Sound. Whether it's Tannoy, JBL or Altec, he does magic with them. This is really good on my LCD4 and Destiny.

Well Bcowen, since you're sleeping as usual, I'll tell you what tubes sound best to me. Surprise, surprise it's the last one - the WE300b .... sadly. Bass just go deeper and tonality is wonderful. Stereo imaging and instruments separation got my attention.

However they all sounded great.

Improved DNA Stratus (they need a name) a possible addition in 2022. I have black, silver and gold. Now I just need a blue and fire engine red and that would be a Smurf and a GSX Mk2 in red.

GS-X mini would be too bright for you Matt.... it is brighter for me and is much brighter than Phonitor..... but is a nice amp... get Phonitor X in red

Not thinking about a solid state now seriously. Who knows later. Loving Audeze house sound with the 300b amp now. Anything I play sounds great.

Not sure if those are the first re-issues of the WE's or the second. Of course, comparing originals, 1st-gen reissues or 2nd-gen reissues to any currently manufactured tube is a non-starter. Admittedly, when it comes to (regular) 300B's I'm a WE fanboy, so anything else is going to have to blow the socks off it to get my interest...and it's unlikely that will ever happen.

Still good with He1000se. 2 different amps but they sound great.
