LOL already missing her,
Aren't you satisfied with Destiny, WA22, Oblivion, & Odyssey on it's way.

....and Elekit TU-8200 being restored. It's winter and cold here. I need more tube amps ! Next one I'll call Firebird.

Improved DNA Stratus (they need a name) a possible addition in 2022. I have black, silver and gold. Now I just need a blue and fire engine red and that would be a Smurf and a GSX Mk2 in red.

How's this?

How about Jaguar red? Oh wait....you're talking headphone amps. Sorry. Or OTOH, plenty of headroom with these.

I have a soft spot for tube amps and you shouldn't be showing me lovely tube amps. If I had that I'm sure I'll be listening to LCD4 with that mono bloc with speaker taps. :)

Frankly blue gets my vote...

... though tube rolling might be a tad expensive :scream:.

Edit: Oh and there's the preamp to consider as these are only power amps lol!

Costs an arm and a leg.. though you do get to specify which when you buy.. if you need to ask the price then you can't afford it:wink:.

Wait....this one is blue and green. Made for those who can't decide, I guess.

The red Cary V-12i's were a bit expensive for rolling output tubes. Wish I'd never sold those. Had them stoked with some early '60's GEC KT-77's at one point...all 24 of them (and a couple spares).

Sup Baronbeehive ! I was never into McIntosh headphone amps but I do like the classic McIntosh 275 which was released in 1961 and have gone through many iterations.

I could love this with the big Tannoy.

You wouldn't have at least a pair of GEC KT77 for me would you? Some nice gear you've had Bcowen.

Yes, that one looks reasonably sensible .

Yes but I think they've gone a bit cheap with the green which looks like it is just paint.. not lit up!

I like the MC901 with the 2 combined dual power output meters, one for decibels and one for watts which looks nicely over the top.

I think you might be massively relieved having got rid of the Cary though.. look at it that way lol! The GEC is a tube I could never manage to acquire.. probably because you had them all, and if I did would probably regret it later .

Not sure what is the purpose of all those tubes, maybe for Christmas fairy lighting.. and the power output is phenomenal on those McIntoshes.

Sadly, no. Another thing I wish I hadn't sold. But when I put the spare pair on Ebay and got more than 3X what I paid for them, I couldn't resist selling the rest. After selling the V-12i's I no longer had an amp that could use them which was after I was painfully bitten by the 300B SET bug and I couldn't envision a pentode in my life ever again. Stupid me. I now do less foolhardy things like continually improving my golf cart driving skills....
