Absolutely. In fact he feels bad suggesting using more expensive and better parts but he did tell me that the all Super SilkEt build is great for speakers and that he would like to build one for himself. It will be one heavy amp though and with 22 watts in triode mode for a KT150, it should drive speakers well as long as it's not over demanding speakers.All Super Silke will be special indeed . One of the many things I really like about Eric is that he makes no judgment , if you want to go upmarket no problem or need a budget build also no problem and any mix between .
I'm enjoying Destiny with my Axis Voicebox S speakers and as well as LCD4. Very pleased with this amp. The tonality is just right. Not too warm and certainly not bright. The soundstage is great. Put on some blues or rock music and I'm lost in translation. Even Miles Davis and John Coltrane sounded great with it.
