My pleasure Shane. You brought along great headphones. We had all 3 tube amps going and it was super convenient to be able to just plug in the headphone cables into which ever amps we like. Unlikely to have both Destiny together again but I have this picture to remember the day.

We tried these headphones with both Destiny..

Kennerton Odin-Thridi & Vali, MrSpeakers ether C flow & ether flow, Fostex th900mk2, Astell&Kern T5P2, Pioneer Monitor-5, Audeze LCD-3f, LCD-4, HD650.

Everyone of those headphones sounded lovely with the 300b amps.

Don't know how long to get it fully stabilized but I've been using Destiny for 3 weeks now. I'm still so engrossed. It's a nightly ritual.

I did not expect Genalex Gold Lion PX300 tubes to reward me visually. It is a great tone but the last thing I expected was the mysterious blue glow in time exposure.

We did run through a couple of alternate layouts including one I came up with , but in the end it was best to follow Annastacia's wise advice

Back to boring old 6as7 tubes though no ethereal blue glow for me

I did go for Mundorf Supreme caps in the output stage so there is a little bit of exotic

Dennis's parallel 6as7 is Eric's favourite and I've no doubt your Iron Man will sound fabulous with headphones.

This is Dennis parallel 6as7. When I saw it, I told Eric that's the layout I want. I will be visiting Dennis home in a few weeks time and I'll get to hear his horn speakers driven by the paralley 6as7 and he use a pair of GEC 6as7g.
