firstly, I have to say that the sound of er4 is pretty clear and clean, which is the biggest feature of er4, isn't it? and instruments are performed well on it. but on contrary, the sound of man played by it doesn't catch my ears compared with shure se535. things would be better when er4p attachs with my desktop. so from my perspective, ipod classic can't express the whole abilities of er4.but it is still sounds good.
