Finally ordered Mad Dogs few days ago then changed my mind and ordered Alpha Dog's and rejected delivery on Mad Dog's. Huge fan of closed back headphones. Had open headphones such as Sennheisers and Grado's and love the added noise isolation closed back offers. Looking forward to listen to Alpha Dog's this weekend they are due to arrive Friday. Will be running with Woo Audio WA7 and Headroom Desktop dac/amp.  Will post my first time impressions later
 
EDIT: Will compare to my current headphone Fostex TH900.

I would personally speculate that they will release a in-house close-back headphone after their success with the Ether.

Dear friends, thank you SO much for the purchases through our end of life sale.  At this time we have materials left for 39 Mad Dogs and 7 Mad Dog Pros.  If you are interested in these products, this may be our "last call."  If there is a surge for the last units, there may be some lead time before we can ship, as we have barely been able to keep up with demand as it is.  That's FYI.
 
We have approximately 100 Alphas left, and that will be all before the Alphas are gone.  We estimate this is going to carry us through August.  We've also added a Prime configuration to the sale with the DUM cable, which pairs really well with it.    
 
Full disclosure; we may have found more T50s and if we can confirm acquisition this may allow us to continue to supply Mad Dogs, though there may be a lead time before we can resume delivery.

Upgrades will continue indefinitely...

If, lets say, I do get a T50RP (the same ones you used with your Mad Dogs and Alphas) after you've discontinued selling your Mad Dogs and Alphas, will I still be able to send those in to upgrade to the Alpha Prime? If so, will it apply internationally?

No, once we run out of product, that's it.  We will offer upgrades to Mad Dog Pro and Alpha Dog for owners of Mad Dogs, but we don't do Prime upgrades, too many technical problems with that particular upgrade.

We did successfully procure more T50's for the Mad Dog line, we just ran out of Pros, but will produce at least 40 more...  They're now available again.

I was about to order an Alpha Dog until I saw the international shipping, $119? and the budget option is $112.
 
The Australian supplier says they cant get the Alpha Dog, but you have mentioned you have some availalbe.
 
Does this mean you are purposely avoiding dealing with non US customers?
