Hello i am looking to save up some money to get my end game iem. My prefer sound signature is musical and the vocal must be like crazy amazing because i am a vocal head, What i like in a iem is Silky smooth mids, Massive wide soundstage, analytical, Accurate, Amazing clarity, Deep sub bass, laid back smooth vocals and also nothing dark and has top notch isolation to. Most of the songs i listen to are Monstercat type, Pop , Kpop, Country, classical, Rap and basically everything in the top 100s

I was thinking about Fidue Sirus or shure 846 or maybe ciem also is $1000 ciem compare to $2000 be night and day difference?

here is some songs i will be listening to

Are those the same thing as the k10u?

Those are $1650 and I am looking for 1 for $1000-1300 unless those are better then most $1000-1300 and how do they compare to the 846 and the Sirus?

On Massdrop right now you can get the 64 Audio ADEL U12 for $750. That's a KILLER price. And everyone agrees, it's certainly end-game quality.

My current IEM of choice is the Rhapsodio Solar BA10. That's within your price range also.

I won't be able to buy in another month. I am trying to save up some money right now and thinking over it because $1000 is huge money to me but thanks.

Trying to end my game from my im03

I still love the IM03, but I must admit, it gets very little time in my ears. Angie replaced it first, and then the Solar. Once you hear that fuller, richer sound, it's hard going back. Now I'm considering hopping on this Massdrop and trying one of the ADEL universals.

End-game is an elusive concept. Especially if you keep reading Head-Fi. :xf_eek:

Your list of preferences is confusing and a little contradictory.

Are you looking for the IM03 sound, only at a higher quality? Or do you want something different?

I am looking for a upgrade from the im03 that's better at everything but maybe a different soundsignature.

The Solar might be the right choice then.

From my Solar Review:

I’m cobsmacked at how much the Solar sounds like my early favorite, the Audio Technica IM03. Yes, Solar is much thicker, and noticeably more detailed, yet bass punch and treble sparkle are nearly the same, with Solar just barely edging ahead. Overall balance and tonality are very alike. The IM03 is just a little closer to neutral with the vocals. The Audio Technica is one of the most natural-sounding earphones, and Solar does not necessarily beat it here, but rather matches that high grade.

Is it night and day difference between those and im03?

In my experience, once you reach a particularly excellent product in the $250-$350 range, the search for "better" elevates the concept of diminishing returns to its full might. You will pay upwards of a thousand dollars for incremental improvements. Expect around 15%-20% difference.

Then once you hit the $1K mark, you can spend thousands more and only gain 5% more quality.

There really aren't any BAD $1K IEMs out there. The most important thing when wading into this pool is not how much you spend, nor the number of drivers, but rather the product you choose. Research like hell, demo if you can, and buy the earphones that match your sonic preference the best.

You won't find anything that blows the IM03 out of the water. Not if I'm being perfectly objective. But there is better. The Solar's treble extends farther. It's bass extends deeper. There is certainly more detail. The most noticeable improvement of all is note thickness; the Solar possesses far greater weight and richness. That is as close to "night and day" as I found. Switching between the two in my A/B testing, the IM03 always sounded very thin in comparison.

Whether these little enhancements are worth the insane price is entirely up to you.
