what is hot glue?

Go to any hardware or craft store (or that section in a Wal Mart type store) and you'll find them: it's a gun that heats up sticks of plasticky glue to the melting point. You pull the trigger, and the melted glue comes out. Like solder, this stuff melts at relatively low temperatures, and cools fairly quickly. Great stuff.

A nice feature of the glue guns is that it is possible to 'crack' it apart after it's cooled down. So if you glued in a circuit board you can take it off fairly easily without damaging anything.
