Walked into Zeppelin today for coffee and cake. Try this new IEM I was told. Two songs later I am the owner of the Triton. Damn you Zeppelin.

Sound quality, build quality, cable and polish are first rate. The driver flex is also amazing. The question is... why does Empire Ears package the Type E? Definitely the wrong tips. If you are buying. The regular velvets sound the best to me. The velvet wide bores are also very good. Dump the type E.

It's only been a few hours. So far it's been stuck in the iBasso DX260, DX320, DC Elite. It truly shines in a neutral and refined source. The texture on the bass and mids is some next level stuff. Despite the warmth, female vocals sound amazing. Delicate yet powerful.

The technical prowess of this IEM is up there with the best. Wipes the floor with the Canpurs. Why is it priced so low? Look forward to having a great conversation once everyone gets their sets.

Lol Triton on Jaben Singapore is SG $2,292.66 excl. tax / regular price SG $2,599.00 excl. tax

The UK price incl. 20% VAT converts to SG $8,169.80. That's just google, typically the bank or card provider exchange rate is less good

Low as in relatively low compared to other IEMs producing this quality of sonics or worse. Example Canpur and VE. How much do they cost in the UK?

I mean. Seriously @Khumbaba . It's like comparing cars by how many wheels and doors it's got. Have you heard the stuff with over 20 drivers? Each side. Driver specs are just a part of the picture.

Your set looks great! Sounds like preorder shipments will be going out soon if Zeppelin has them on hand. I'm going to put in a preorder as well.

How would you compare the bass to the Titan and Crimson?

I think I read somewhere that the 2BC drivers are for the highs. Are you able to tell?

The BC's do the highs? The bass and mids have such great textures. I would have guessed that's where they're buzzing. LOL.

Bass is EE bass. Solid, but not so much it goes L shaped and warm. This is next tier bass compared to the Titan. Crimson is more reference and balanced. Triton is highly musical. W with everything forward, but nothing overwhelming the others. Unlike the Ascension. The note weight on the Triton is thick. Also. Earlier EEs have a mild metallic timbre. These don't despite having BCs.

I just started the bass test list. The strings are amazing. The first song. I can hear a reverb bouncing off the wall or something. This is on the DC Elite. My D16 is on loan out. That one will bring out another level of good. Safe to say. This IEM has good drivers that can scale with your source.

A step above the Titan huh, that's impressive. Really looking forward to this one.

I usually use this track to test for sibilance and general brightness. That might explain the tsssss tssss in the background. Like someone sweeping the floor across the room. There are no sharp, sudden treble attacks. Yet tingles and pings are present and there is no sense of treble or air missing. Maybe it's now texture. Too few hours so far to figure out all the nuances.

Two songs in. I decided this is good crap and bought it. Now just starting to learn more about it.

Was looking for a fun set to supplement my MMk2 and this one looks to be it. It's gorgeous and that launch cable is insane. Rolling the dice and blind-buying this. Full beans.

Oh. This is not just a fun set. This is a highly refined IEM. MM2 is fun but doesn't scale. I had the Prestige LTD. It didn't scale either. This is outright solid sonics, gonna scale with your sources.

What’re your preferred music genres? Would you be willing to try out some fast metal and let me know how it handles it?

Edit: Reason I ask, I assumed due to bass quantity and tuning impressions I had heard before that this was not going to be a good fit for fast metal, but your input makes it sound like this could be more of an all-rounder than I thought.

Low?? 1800 dollars without thinking about taxes... for what? For that config 1800 dollars are a crazy price. Much overpriced! You are out of mind. Maybe do you like more 3000 dollars as price?

1800 dollars for this? No way!

You think you’re paying for the drivers? Or that just anyone could implement those drivers as well as EE? 🤣

$1800 is very reasonable.
