Because these are the most ludicrously over rated iems of all time. The critics praising these are doing real evil getting people into financial trouble selling it.

There are loads of much cheaper iems that are better in every regard. The audio industry is highly suspect, and the more serious you take it, the more suspicious you are.

Just my observation.

I like my annies and i love not spending money, care to give me a much cheaper alternative?

EDIT: LOL saw the response. the B2 being better is not something i experienced, and i bought them soon in the hobby. Maybe some special ear shape or mental comfort with such sound, but it hasn't been my experience.
Hollow and lifeless would let me think your seal is royally bad and you should try them with appropriate tips, as every IEM should be.

Your synergy must have been off. The Anni 2023 were like magic the moment I put them on. My source was the DX320 with modded AMP12EXN-S which never made it sound hollow at all. Plenty of body with that magical treble precision.

I'm selling mine strictly because of fit issues causing my ear pain over long listening sessions not because I prefer to.

If you're happy with B2 all the power to you. No need to be a jerk about it.

I don’t want to be a jerk here but it seems you are either trolling, have a bad hearing, have a bad source, or the one you tried is a defective unit. After trying countless iems from cheap to more expensive ones, i was convinced that the annihilator is one of the best out there. It might not be your cup of tea but calling it hollow and lifeless is really a BS.
