Any perceptible differences between the two that you noticed? I've got Fusion1 here with me as part of a tour, but unfortunately it didn't come with the P-Ear ConX modules..I went back and forth a few times with the new EA Fusion 1 and the stock LL on Anni and found both were equally good on it.

Just got a delivery of some Eletech Baroque tips. I think these could be my favourite so far for with the Annihilator and they're definitely a more comfortable material for longer-term listening than the included SpinFit or Xelastec that I would've used otherwise.

I'm swapping between medium Baroques and small SpinFit W1 and can't really decide which I like better. Tried small SpiralDot++ as well but they came off as too thin / lean down low, even though fit was good.
Still honeymooning hard with Annihilator... It's proving to be a great all arounder, which was my hope. I've thrown it to the depths of my metal catalog, from crushing death metal, to ice cold black metal, to sludgy doom and everywhere in between and it's handled all with aplomb. I also quite like it with jazz and really enjoy it with acoustic music. The top end clarity is something else. Unless the recording is poor, there's never any harshness or bite, which is quite impressive considering the treble presence is not insignificant. I should sign off of Head-Fi and ride off into sonic bliss... but alas, we all know that's no fun
A relaxing technical death metal album to get the work day in gear... doing my best to keep the volume in check as Anni begs you to keep ticking it up!

Lee worked some magic with the tuning of this iem because some may find it very colored on paper, yet it just works when listening to it in real-time.
Metal is very difficult to make sound "good" in Hi-Fi and I agree Anni does it great without killing the ears

The Annihilator with Baroque tips is my most comfortable IEM for longer listens now.
I have a custom Rn6 which is a fun listen, especially the kinetic bass, but the Annihilator is perfect for when I can sit and relax with some music or need to be able to put them in and take out easily.

Yeah, magic indeed. Metal can certainly be challenging with hi-fi gear and happens to be my #1 listened to genre, far and away. It's always a bit of gamble going for IEMs that are on the more revealing, "brighter" side of the spectrum. But, when an IEM is tuned to lay bare all of the details of a recording and yet not tip them too far forward or in a overly peaky, edgy manner, it's a win. Anni for the most part gets this very right. At least as right as any IEM I've personally heard that has this level of treble presence. I think if Anni was tuned with less bass presence, in particular less midbass, it would upset the apple cart. But, Lee has managed to strike a nice balance that injects some warmth and fullness where needed which in turn couples quite seamlessly with the treble response.Lee worked some magic with the tuning of this iem because some may find it very colored on paper, yet it just works when listening to it in real-time.

The Annihilator keeps being unbelievably good, it's the perfect IEM. I just blasted the volume for one song and holy goddamn, it's mindblowing what this thing can do. Endless treble extension while never being sharp while having an earth shattering subbass to underline. The details you can can hear are astonishing and it's still not forced at all and you just enjoy the music.

I listen to many different genres on them daily. They always have that massive engagement factor which is helped significantly with the note weight slams of kick drums and snares with resonance!
I’ve had the 2023 version since april of this year and i still can’t get enough of them on a daily basis. I haven’t even tried other cables, tips or sources besides my phone with a dongle and the ADI-2 DAC.
It’s hard to imagine anything being more enjoyable for me at this point or the future but who knows.
Love how so many people are finding the same results! Makes me certain how i feel about them is warranted haha.

My Anni has arrived. Had to switch for the Titanium version due to extensive delay for the gold. Very capable iem no doubt. I tell the truth, the bass is unederwhelming to my ears compared to the mest mk 2.
Preorders for the gold have been very high. I also considered switching to titanium because Elysian/Effect Audio had some unsold units on hand since they’re slightly less in demand. Used titanium versions also don’t seem to sell as quickly and I worried about resale values. Given the Annihilator is a large IEM, the seal and ear tip material will change the perception of bass dramatically— and especially if you have small ears its harder to get a proper fit.My Anni has arrived. Is it just me or do I find the stock Anni cable to be extremely capable - I don't notice a huge difference between stock / Centurion / Cleopatra II Octa / Chiron / etc. Or maybe Anni is less responsive to cable rolling. Either way I find that I am increasingly returning to the stock cable and don't feel like I am missing anything.
It's a fabulous default cable - one of the better ones I've seen included with an iem, and an absolutely great value for the MSRP of it standalone. Is it just me or do I find the stock Anni cable to be extremely capable - I don't notice a huge difference between stock / Centurion / Cleopatra II Octa / Chiron / etc. Or maybe Anni is less responsive to cable rolling. Very rich sounding cable with big bass. 8-wire and premium construction too, tells me Liquid Links make quality product for a reasonable ask in today's landscape.

I tried it with Fusion 1. Both sound good to me but I am not a cable expert.. Will stick with the stock cable. It is very nice. The Fusion 1 would be a nice color match with the gold faceplate. But I will keep it on the Trifecta, also a great visual match. Is it just me or do I find the stock Anni cable to be extremely capable - I don't notice a huge difference between stock / Centurion / Cleopatra II Octa / Chiron / etc. Or maybe Anni is less responsive to cable rolling. The Liquid Links Martini cable that comes with the Annihilator is a popular upgrade cable for other IEM’s. You already have what some people want— it’s a better cable than what is included with most universal in ear monitors.

Indeed, I have one for the EVO as well. Lovely cable. I understand some find it too flashy but I guess I like bling..The Liquid Links Martini cable that comes with the Annihilator is a popular upgrade cable for other IEM’s.
