Elysian Acoustics DIVA 2023

As the Diva uses Pentaconn connection, it's actually extremely elusive right now for aftermarket cable as far as I could tell. The only one I found was from the actual Pentaconn website itself, you can find the 2.5mm balanced cable and 3.5mm SE cable here, but honestly they look abuot as thick as the one that comes with the DIVA so if the issue is softness I dunno how much this will help you... The ones I am linking are their sterling silver cable, if you browse around there's also a silver plated OFC cable, the quality I have no idea because I've never tried before...

Appreciate it. Unfortunate since I really love the Diva but hate this cable.

Is it the hard plastic ear hooks that you hate about the cable? If so then these pentaconn cables might actually help. If it's just a thickness problem then yeah prob about the same even if you get the pentaconn ones. I am actually considering buying the 2.5mm balanced cable in sterling silver, but not too sure if there's any point.

It's actually both. I ordered a basic Linsoul cable for my Orchestra Lite and love the thinness/weight of it.

On that site you linked, it does say it works for the IE 400 Pro. Wondering if this would work since it's for the IE 400 Pro

I ordered a few ConX sets with the P-ear add on, will make some cables with them, p-ear for the Diva :D
Yeah lol I found a converter from mmcx to that pentaconn connector thing on amazon, bought a set to see if it'll work. I have a sterling silver cable with mmcx connector that is just laying there right now might as well make use of it lol. If it works it's alot cheaper option than paying $400 for that sterling silver cable on pentaconn's official website...

Would you guys consider the Diva to be bassy even on lowest bass setting?
Can't speak for the pre 2023 version but for the 2023 Diva: Lowest setting I think the bass is almost neutral to a little boring, and idk if it's just mine but it sounded little congested/ canny... mid setting the bass is definitely present, and while it sounds like it cuts into the mids it actually doesn't. High setting is just too much bass and it kinda muddies up the sound which I was not a fan of.

I find myself mostly using the lowest bass setting when testing the Diva 2023. So not sure if should be considering the Diva. Might need to test some more
If u don't like bass and the vocals on the Diva wasn't enough to win you over then you might not prefer it's sound signature so maybe try a variety of other IEMs before deciding.

Actually, it was the upper mids and the highs that won me over for the Diva 2023. Vocals are not really my priority, and the quantity of bass might be a little too much (on low bass setting), but i guess i could live with it. Aside from the bass, i like the Diva sound signature.

This is really cool. They have a 2-pin option as well. Can you let me know how this works out for you? If it works well I may consider a pair.
