Elysian Acoustic Labs “X” Flagship IEM Discussion Thread

Too much hype over LP for my liking, I'm afraid.
If I was, to be honest, sound alone for me it is not hyped, however:
1)Lack of gapless playback,
2)Promise of 24/192 USB DAC, which I doubt will ever come,
3)Audible click between tracks (which I think can be fixed but need to edit metadata, I had this issue with my other chifia DAPS).

Certainly makes it very hard for me to recommend it. But it does sound good, insanely good.

Any user impressions yet?
Not yet, should be shipping very soon. Just bought a P6 Pro for my assessment of Elysian X, seems I'll do a full review of X after all.

Add me to the list of deathly interested in both the X and P6 Pro

Just thought to share, whatever one may think of graphs. I personally don’t understand graphs well. Thank you in advance to those who proffered to give upcoming impressions of X. If it hits the right spots for me, I may just sell the Traillii to fund it :)

The upper treble on that graph is from a straight up different dimension. Don't think I've seen anything like it and certainly excited to hear it

I’m quite sensitive to treble so I’m hoping I won’t find X’s treble too “hot” or “sharp”… will ask to try it the next time I’m at Zeppelin (local distributor)

Based on the Annihilator which has a similar treble response… It isn’t hot or sharp to my ears, it’s just very present in the tuning but it’s all good quality treble.

Treble really feels like the star of the show here, smooth, transient and effortless. The sub bass presense is also very prominent. Mids feel relatively weak and lacking in density.

Based off the graph this is basically what I figured. I’m a bit worried about the lower mid range note weight, but time will tell. The Annihilator doesn’t really have much note density and it didn’t bug me there, so I’m assuming probably be okay with it here too.
