For $300, I was expecting full grain leather not top grain
Most of the world's "full grain" leather is actually just top grain by formal definition. Popular "full grain" leathers like horween's chromexcel is actually top grain (or corrected grain) as its corrected at the top to reduce scarring and bite marks! Lots of the popular fine european leathers are actually also top grain.

The case is nice, but certainly looks more like a woman audiophile will get more out of it than I would.
I just use a small padded camera case and toss it into my backpack with my laptop to go to work.

They only made a hundred of these so I am sure this is a test market product to see who would buy it.
Otherwise, I would have kept my opinions to myself. The vintage motorcycle suggest they were going
for men, but I don't think I would feel comfortable walking around with something like that hanging
by my side.
What defines what a woman audiophile would wear to you? For me, I think the sea blue looks great.

I thinks it's an American thing. It brings feminine to mind for a lot of people. In Asia it's really popular to carry a bag like this though. For instance, look at Analogue Squared Paper's web page, they sell leather shoulder bags to carry all your audio stuff....

Really interesting design and tube amp to boot. Kinda retro look, I wonder how it sounds.

Pro Tip. If you remove the shoulder strap, as it looks like it just buckles in, then it's just a carrying case for those who are afraid of the man-purse or european carry-all. :D

I have a similar Van Nuys case, and I thought it was expensive. This is quite a bit pricier, but it does look nice.

Well, I definitely don't think anybody will be getting the case now...

...mainly because it sold out yesterday.
