Recently purchased a used Socrates off of HeadFi. Wanted an upgraded black cable from the stock 64Audio cable with a 4.4mm termination. Stock is 3.5mm. Really excited to see, feel, and hear the differences. This is my first higher end cable.

Hi. Just listened Ode de Laura, in i think it is too much overpriced. Did not like it, what is wrong?

With cables sometimes different pairing brings about a different synergy. I personally have also found some pairings that absolutely does not go well with the Ode To Laura, some though absolutely flourishes with it

Agree that cable-IEM pairing synergies are eclectic and not predictable (which is part of the discovery process I enjoy). I found OTL tremendously enjoyable with Singularity and LX.

Indeed. I reckon that synergy is something that folks do tend to forget about in what they want to do with a cable, even if one as outstanding as the OTL. I do enjoy the OTL with my FitEar DC Ti. And before that, with my FitEar MH334SR.

Frankly, it's a great price for a flagship level cable. And Eletech doesn't quite come up with all kind of derivative products like some other houses.

Contemplating Laura ... sentimental reasons (not that all audio purchase decisions are made rationally). For those who have full sized headphones I wonder if is sonically similar to the Danceable LR+ that I have for my Utopia. Unfortunately I haven't found a retailer where I live where I can audition the cable(s).

How does it pair with Spartacus and/or Trailii? And do they now come with the Versa connector or can this be made backward compatible.

It's been a while since I was able to purchase any new audio gear, but I've finally broken that drought in some style; I just bought a used Campfire Audio Trifecta on the Classifieds here, and ordered a new Eletech Raphael from a local retailer too

Wondering if they'll go well together!
I'll do plenty of listening with the Trifecta stock cable first, and then we'll see.
But I've got other IEMs that I think might benefit from the artistry of Raphael, so either way, it's a win-win

Raphael is a masterclass in price-to-performance ratio, sound improvements, ergonomics, and design.

Yes the PEar will be added into the Versa ecosystem soon Currently final testing phase and should be ready very soon. I'll keep you guys updated!
