Haha! I'm afraid I only had the SOA sent by Eric. I am pretty much a FitEar boy and so my cables would not have the right connectors otherwise. ?

lol, I gotcha. I tested it with the SoA as well, but I didn't have time to try it with an OtL so I'm curious about that pairing. That said, I have a sneaking suspicion that it would do well with an (as of yet non-existent) 8W GPC + GPGC + GPS + GPGS cable.

So I just got a Noble Ronin, which of course comes with a custom Eletech cable. I also own an Effect Audio Cadmus 4W, and Eros S. The Eros S is a great looking cable, but the level of memory it has is just borderline ridiculous. Cadmus is much better, but when I tried Ronin's Eletech cable I realized this would be my brand for high end IEM cables.

So now I'm interested in a couple of higher end cables from ET. Do their 8-wire cables flex and lay as well as the 4W variants? Also, does anyone know why most of their $400-$1500 cables are out of stock and seemingly removed from their website? BloomAudio seems to only have a couple on hand. I don't really want just $199 cables, but also not wanting to spend $2500+ on Ode to Laura. When I drop $2k it'll probably be on something from Brise.

The 8-wire are a (mostly) annual limited-time only offering but yeah their ergo has been roughly the same as their 4w counterparts from my experience. Socrates and Plato are about to be succeeded by a new line so you'll have to wait a bit for those to pop up.

Guessing the modular connector versions are coming soon and that's probably why. Would make sense.

Received my three cables (Raphael, Aeneid, Socrates) back from Eric and team after the upgrade to the Versa connector. Excited to try them with my MMCX IEMs now.
