Check out or leave it (I know, you tend towards the latter, your fault, not mine).

I've just listened to it (due to nickchen's recommendation at another forum) and it was worth my time.
Therefor I'm resurrecting this old thread in order to spread this music further.

DANG! That was fun! Actually the most fun I've had on the Music forum. Thanks nickchen and cosmopragma. Just last week I was ranting about "listening to" in lieu of "talking about" other Head-Fier's music. This was perfect, now how do we do more?

Music-wise, ESEM: The sound is dated, not a decade old, try three decades. Back in the ancient times we called it Synth or MOOG. Tomita comes to mind. But there were a few interesting new elements that I had not heard before.

Definitely agree on that.

This album is IDM in its purest form in my opinion. It has a nice sound but nothing much original. At the same time the melodies especially on favorites 7, 8 and 11 are nothing short of beautiful. There are no real bogus tracks either so it makes up for a nice ride every now and then. Overall I think this album is worthy to be in my little collection and worth checking out. Its free anyway!

Edit: I give it a thumb up. Gotta love the advanced tracker style

Good links, thank you.

My #2 after kahvi.org is miasmah.com - the latter is a bit more on the experimental side of things.
