I'd say between 40 and 50 hours in the chair. The biggest issue would be filling in the 'blank space' as I wouldn't want to stretch the image too much.

EDIT: I could see if it'd be possible to get it all to fade to black in the blank spaces to rep something similar to this...

(One of the few single releases from the album that isn't pictured in the original painting)

That would be one hell of a good one I think. Many hours of ink. Thanks for the music links, keep them coming.

Call me crazy if you will, but I'm also considering getting this as a tattoo sleeve...

For anyone looking for more free stuff. Beats Antique has quite a few free things out there, and I really love their style. This remix is pretty great...

awwww yea. i just went and got his album. well deserving producer and surprisingly well done album. no signs of compression artifacts, clipping or frequency distortion. it's insanely done well. most impressive part was done in fl studio. his stuff actually has emotion compared to noise in mainstream world of dubstep. i want to go hug him for this album.

+1 for Byetone, whilst I don't think Symeta was as good as DOAT it's still a nice album.

Dunno, liking it the most, especially Opal track. Somehow reminds me really minimal stuff by Pan Sonic.

I appologise, but this heavy dubstep atmosphere needs to be dilluted a bit.

Here you go guys. More BT for you. Ambient, wonderful album. This guy has posted the whole video set. If you've got an hour or so to watch them, do it. I've been focused on Dubstep a lot lately just because it's what's been coming out, but BT is easily my favorite producer of all time. While 'This Binary Universe' is a fantastic album...I still consider 'These Hopeful Machines' my favorite album of all time.

This is the shortened version, but the video is nice. Enjoy.

Dubstep is great...but this is the kind of stuff I really have a passion for.

Agree, I have it as well. He needs to release some other stuff.
