If anyone has ever heard of Eoto, there a band to check out.  Comprised of two member from the String Cheese Incident(think a  modern Grateful Dead), Michael Travis and Jason Hann( aka Prophet Massive).  The don't release any albums or anything like that, instead the improvise there music at the concert, right in front of you.  So basically every single concert is different, they mix dubstep, trance, glitch, house, breakbeat, trip hop, drum and bass, etc   Its hard to describe there sound, it fluctuates from show to show, there is a lot of heavy bass, but it is mixed up quite a bit, with guitar solos, drum solos and the like, they don't stay on any one genre for to long before they're tearing it up in a different way haha
