I love minimal tech house and electro

Dominik Eulberg

Loco Dice

Troy Pierce

Nicholas Jaar

Fluxion

Joris Voorn

Efdemin

Nice, I'll check some of the guys out.

I'm more of a lounge-y, deep house, jazzy guy though but can appreciate some minimalist stuff.

Things along the lines of:

Blue 6
Ananda Project
The Rurals
Miguel Migs
Thievery Corporation
etc, etc.

Been getting into some more DnB lately, anyone have some good recommendations that doesn't stray too far off this path? Probably something like liquid.

Cool thread.

Deep house? Check out Nicolas Jaar (space is only noise) and Efdemin (efdemin) from JamesFonda's list. Aditionally: Pantha du Prince (this is bliss), John Robberts(glass eights), Seth Troxler(yet to release an album), Oliver Koletzki (grosstadmarchen) and Isolée (well spent youth).

Edit: Forgot to mention Pawel (Pawel)

I pretty much like ANYTHING on the Hospital label. They have so many good artists. I don't have that Netsky album. I'm gonna go grab it as soon as I can.
Quote:
You're welcome, they're quite varied in genre's D&B through to breaks/dubstep.

A good place is the stanton sessions albums (there are three of them, third one is my favourite,  Chase & Status's first album is worth a listen End credits is on the album, my favourite is eastern dub, it's called "More than a Lot". Mistabishi released his debut album last year, some wierd tracks but some good beats:

Netsky's self titled album from last year was my favourite album of the year. Listen to Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1 and you'll hear more of it. Skream is a heavy remix specialist. Look up Hospital & RAM Records (labels).

Also, yeah, that SPY track by your side, no idea what it's sampling but it is a quality tune nonetheless, the logistics mix isn't as good in my book even though it doesn't completely ruin the track either.

I will be checking out all of these suggestions. I adore Deep House.

So...Someone recently recommended Skrillex to me, I paid them no mind as I was too occupied with Feed Me at the time. And now I saw it mentioned again here. I downloaded the Spirits EP,

I'm hoping to do a set that consists of some of Deadmau5 heavier Electro House, Feed Me, Skrillex, and maybe some Danger soon. If I end up recording it, I'll upload it somewhere. But man, after finding out about Feed Me and Skrillex...I'm inspired to mix the crap out of them.

Finally someone else who likes this type of music. I've always liked trance and techno but have just recently been listening to Skrillex, Feed Me, Demon Groove, and Cyberpunkers (cyberpunkers are pretty awesome, especially their mixes on soundcloud). If you know of anyother bands like Feed Me it would be cool to know

This thread would be perfect to post your own sets. I'll do a head-fi mix as well with music similar to the new vault series ep :)

I'm not into electro, but Siriusmo is amazing, so a recommendation to all the electro fans here.

I've been hooked on Fenn O'Berg (Fennesz, Jim O' Rourke and Peter Rehberg) lately, it's propably not for everyone. I'd say it's closest to Fennesz' solo work, so if you enjoyed that, check it out.

I should borrow my mate's 240s and try them out. I had a little time with them about a year ago, but I really want to try them out again with my E9.

That song is brilliant, by the way. One of my favorite Cyberpunkers songs. It's some good Electro House, and I'm a major sucker for anything with vocal work like that.

Some great recommendations in this thread! I'd never heard of cyberpunkers or Skrilex before, I like it. I discovered this the other day from Blatta & Inesha:

No idea whether it's been released or it's due for release or anything else but I thought it was pretty cool. I am listening to feed me's big adventure at the moment, helluvan album, was released last month on maustrap.
