Okay but something turned rotten between Singapore and Hong Kong because they are trying to charge US$1933 vs. Eric's US $1599 Not getting any customer service and getting GOUGED. What to do? I think my answer at this point is just to walk away at this point. Got better things to do with my time and money.
It's a very unfortunate situation. I hate to see our customers and friends getting the short end of the stick when it comes to trading with us. Effect Audio pride ourselves around customer service and yet my hands are tied in this circumstance due to corporate red-tape. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not leaving things as it were and move on. I will on my end try to alleviate the recurrence of future similar incidents to my best efforts.
Meanwhile though, i hope to seek your understanding for our partners part. Some regions priced slightly higher RRP due to a plethora of reasons (Shipping charges, VATs, Taxes, Advertising & Marketing etc..) . These RRP are monitored and we made sure that it's justified and not at an exorbitant rate. If in due time, if getting a "Horus" from your authorised dealers may not make any economical sense to you, no hard feelings should you decided to source for alternate brands & products. After all, this is a hobby, you do not need to own the product to join in the fun of discussing and being apart of the community with EA thread
