Right now I have the Sennheiser HD-25's, and Grado 60.  I am waiting for a pair of Audeze :)  I am tempted to pick up a pair of HD650s. But one can only listen to one headphone at a time. But I guess one can connect many headphones considering there are so many outputs on the BA!

just picked up a K701. another winner with BA. here is my in-depth review of the headphones i have used so far with the Balancing Act (300B tubes).

 * 10/10 in sound: RS1, GS1000, R10, LCD2, K701

 * 7/10: HD650, HD800

 * 4/10: K340, K1000

want to try DX1000. think that will work well too. plus i really need to try some PX4 tubes.

Don't forget the switch at the back!

as mentioned, PX4 is 4 volts. 300B is 5. and you need to have the switch on the amp in the right position as well.

I wonder how the different negative grid voltage for PX4 and 300B bias point is adjusted, in case the rear switch only changes anode voltage and pin socket relation.
Does the negative grid regulation been automatized by the circuit itself? Anyone knows?

I don't think the rear switch changes the socket relation. I believe that the socket connections are the same for both PX4 and 300B.
As a matter of fact you could run some PX4's with the rear switch set for 300B, but please don't try it.
Craig told me I could with some of my modified PX4's.

In the past a few of us were complaining about hum from the transformer in the power supply. I was one of them. If you have hum, you probably have something up with your power. I just added a aps purepower to my setup and I no longer have that hum from my BA power supply. Just a thought if anybody cared.

I care!
I am pleased you confirm that a clean power supply is top priority.
