I have also heard, from the SoCal meet, that with Ray's A/B test box, the HeadFiers could not tell the difference between the Raptor and the EC-01. Of course the EC-01 would then be a much cheaper alternative to a Raptor.

But also bear in mind that if in the A/B test the level is higher by just a half dB the test will tend to favor the louder amp as I have found. Of course we are not suppost to know this.

Srajan gave me the go - I have contacted Craig and I will be reviewing the EC-01 for 6moons, should receive it pretty soon.

I will be reviewing one soon as well, I think I'll attack it from the budget side of it since it can be had for 350$.
