After over four years is there still fervor for this legendary tube? I have a pair incoming to use in an amplifier. Any additional updates from folks who've already posted? Any new owners? I'll be sure to post my impressions once I have them run i
I'm a huge fan of the 6J5 tubes, but in my custom amps I still ask for a single octal driver socket - mainly for the ECC32.

Got a pair of Mullard ECC32 and it shines at my WA22 with WE421A as power and KR274B as Rectifier. Vocals are amazingly sweet and smooth, with unbelievable extension at both low and high.

Nice, I love this tube too.
I had Keenan bias this tube to its full capability in my GOTL

Nice. Those are early ECC32 with inverted tray getters. I used to like a similar combo when I had a WA22.

+1 on this. I would also like to know.
I'll try at the weekend. I have tried in the past, but will try again as I can't remember the difference. They are quite different tubes tho. ECC31 is close/same as a 6N7 and ECC32 is close to a 6SN7. The 6SN7 being a far more popular tube makes the ECC32 far more desirable, but I seem to remember rather liking the ECC31 and I really like the 6N7 in general.

Easily ECC32 for me. Go deeper. I compared similar vintage - both with early inverted tray getter. Used 1101 Audio V6 with Abyss.
