well my etymotic er6is seem to have a damaged right nozzle, the filter died in 2 weeks and the flange is held in very weakly, and all etymotic wants me to do is buy more filters. So it might be time to get a new set. I just want something that sounds like them and is relatively cheap (under 130$ CAD) I also really liek the sennheiser hd 280 sound.

If isolation is not a top priority, try Head-Direct RE2. RE0 will be an even better choice but it doesn't sound too much like an Ety.

^ HA-FX300 sounds nothing like an Er6i. I would say go with something from the Head-Direct line. Don't know about the RE1, but RE0/RE2 both have an "Etymotic" type of signature.

If something is wrong with the body itself, Etymotic may deem it replacable, they did on my broken ER4 nozzle.

Its not exactly like the HD280, but the Brainwavz Beta from mp4nation are really nice but they do not isolate as well as the HD280s or how much I assume the ER6is do.
