Do you use the silicone or foam tips? I want isolation, which of the 4 combos works better?

What others fit? hje50 sounds ok, but would be way better with 30db noise isolation.

Triflanges and foamies from ER-6i will not fit on the stem of the HJE50s. The opening is too narrow. Shure E2Cs super soft tips will fit, however, but foamies will not. When I had them, I used the small ultra soft tips along with the foamie-inside-the-tip mod for a more secure fit.

dang, i was hoping for experiences with tri/bi flanges or foamies with the hje50, as i find soft tips aren't isolating enough for me when i'm on the bus.

what about with er-4 or er-6 tips with the hje50?

(i should take a look at the foamie-inside-the-tip mod too; if that's good and isolating with the panasonic's i might try it...what's the link to the thread?)

The ER6 bi-flanges and foamies will both fit onto the hje50, although it is a tight fit. The foamies give pretty good isolation, but not as good as with the 'true' IEMs due to the hje50 design
