It seems one member on the board has had this combo. I currently hve an order in for the Baby Sophia/K1000 combo, but I am considering the E.A.R. V20. Any more input on this amp?

How beautiful can a piece of stereo equipment be?

Money is not the primary concern. If it sounds 1/2 as good as it looks, I want it. If i could get something signnficiantly better in perfromance for the same or less money, that would be a different story, however, I would have to imagine the V20 is no slouch.

I like your attitude Dude! I have no doubt it’ll sound twice as good as it looks.

When I received my E.A.R. HP4 I was left speechless. It’s a stunning, well laid out piece of equipment that sounds incredible. I think it’s the best investment I ever made in audio equipment. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful piece of gear and it sounds better than it looks.

I’m looking forward to your review.

Did you know that at half the price there's maybe.......oh well forget it.

Enjoy your new gear when it arrives.

....the k1000 can be enjoyed with a $500 amp just fine. It sounds great with my ppa. I'll be using it with my $500 jolida amp as well. $5000, that's just obsurd to not have heard it.

However it is your money. Enjoy it!

I didn't hear my $2500 MPX3, the $3500 Meridian G08, any of my headphones (650, W1000, K1000, ER4P) or any of my Musical Fidelity products before buying them. My faith is strong. LOL.

Ok, i see, but you know buying the most expensive is not the sure path to audio heaven...compare the stuff! Especially when you have some good audio shop around...i guess there's good audio shop in or around Silicon Valley?
