The DX320 Max Ti just sound weightier and have stronger dynamics thanks to its better amplifier module. Size of staging is almost as good. I will report back given that my DX340 is not properly burn in yet.

On a side note, amp faceplates will be available at the end of next week according to @Paul - iBasso. I already ordered two faceplates for AMP14 and AMP12 (NPaudio).
Thank you! I love it when people are so direct, I just wish there was more of it in this forum.

This is exactly what I expected from the comparison.

Not gonna lie when I first heard this the disappointment was immense coming from the DX300 with how low res and how much artifacting filling out the dead space.

But after listening for awhile I can kinna understand the enjoyment ibasso was going for. Sadly the the smoothish sound means a good amount of my library that are brickwalled and have 8+ layers vying for your attention just doesn't sound good.

On slower more melodic songs sound really nice but the lack of microdetails is really annoying me for some reason. Esp songs I know intimately.

You might want to send it in to be looked at. That does not sound like the 340 at all.

340 smoother than the 300. I doubt they can manage a cure for that.

So I contact UAPP support team about the problem with UAPP not detecting the HiRes Driver of the DX340,

This is an apk for a UAPP version that should fully work for the DX340, just install it and it will work as an update over your existing UAPP (assuming you already purchased the Pro version on Google Play Store), your media library and playlists won't get erased.

It is wrong to say that 340 is smoother than 320. It isnt smoother in the textures of the music. It is smoother in a senses that if you were to imagine a Saw blade with teeths, these Teeths are now filled Flat and have became a katana blade.

In my opinions, the 340 is even better fidelity and more vivid than 320, it pours out details that people would be missing, but at the same time, those details are with more density and energies than 320.

This is one main reason why I love the Metallic splashes from cymbals in real set, but the majority of DAP/DAC just makes it feel like teeth clingings , sibilants in my ears...very uncomfortable.

This area is also where the Harmonic adjusments can tell the different story, on H1 the overall fidelity isnt as fine as the H2. The H3 has it even sweeter in details and the H5 is the best for those that love to listen to these. The H4 gives me unwelcomed flows to the music, like I am not connected to the music and the flows like the rest, so I dont usually go for H4 (2/3 my favorite)

All of these areas were taking turn appearing to me with D16, and I called it Analogues performances. It took me so much time to look into what Ibasso have done. That I missed this slide by Ibasso

Analog fir filters, the reasons for enhanced sound resolutions and density

😂

So, in a less lyrical language, it has lower resolution. But on this particular occasion you like that, at least until a newer model comes along with sharper teeth. I mean higher resolution.

I think the comparison made was with DX300, not DX320 (your conclusions may stand of course, or not, regardless).

DX340 is just better than the DX320, no need to make more descriptive comparisons. 😁

Is the tonality different? Yes.
