What I haven't seen yet is the output power @ 32 ohms. Also it is mentioned that the battery is user replaceable. How does it work? Is it 18650 or something?
I would guess it is a pack, just like used on the other MAX units. They plug in and are each to change once the back is off, which requires a hot air gun and suction cup, like cell phones. But now it is just two screws and you are right at the batteries. I assume this is how it is designed. I think the 18650 would take more room and it would end up with a thicker unit. All conjecture.

It is helpful if the unit comes with a 24 stepped volume control. A gain button is helpful to get between those volume steps. My favorite analog volume control is not an RK50 but rather a well made 48 stepped attenuator.

Do you know what is max Power Output in mW or W? As for example FiiO M17 has power output 3000 mW (3W) per channel. I would like to know what is the difference beetween this one and FiiO M17 in DC mode? This one has DC mode?
As far as I can recall, much like A&K, iBasso don’t publish power out in mW / W, or as voltage output.

From looking at the past products and experience, the power will be there. That is the least of things. The sound, but I would bet, this will also be there in spades.

Ibasso Max lines always deliver an exceptional sound.

Agreed, especially for something so hard to drive like 800s, and we speak from experiences

HD800 is not only difficult to drive but it takes an exceptional device for them to sound great (such an excuse I know for us HD800s lover!). My 300Ti does a really good job with mine.

I wish I was in the EU. Am in Canada.

Still trying to offload my 220 Max not sure if I need another one

I know how painful those taxes can get and is why I am still pondering whether to pull the trigger. The eye watering price after currency conversion compounds the issue.
