Don't think Mjolnir is 100% finalized yet? Seems like every show report still mentions "almost the final" version.

I have got confirmations from @Paul - iBasso regarding of how capable the ROHM chips are in the 320Max configuration. I could never found such information from any other manufacturers about their DAP!
The chips are capable of 8X - 16X - 32X Oversampling, and the chips are implemented so that it utilize the happy medium of 16X. This means any PCM you are listening to, is going to be DSD512X using 32 bits float processing as a references.
The reasons why I don’t find DSD512X as satisfying as a few years back. I am very very happy with how the 320Max is

Hi All, another question. Just picked up the Valentinum leather case. It is beautiful and looks like it gives better protection than the stock case, which is also very nice.
Is there any reason to be concerned about the magnetic closures on the case interfereing with the operation of the unit? There are two small magnets on the right side of the screen cover flap, and two slightly larger and slightly stronger magnets on the bottom closure flap.

Hi All,
Where can the original firmware be located?

The very 1st page has it posted with the 660 Tool and the .img firmware that you need to use. I saw it go up the other day.Hi All,

I have it on my 300Max. Been using it for several months with no problems in sound or operation. 300Max used to slide out of its case, and the closing flaps on the Valentium takes care of that nicely. 320Max case fits more tightly than the 300Max case did, so I'm happy to use the stock case on that.Hi All, another question. I just want to say that I started out with the Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G with the Wolfson DAC. That was a sweet phone. Then LG V10, V30, and V60. In the midst of that, started the DAP journey with the DX90. Then got the Fiio X5iii, Fiio M15, and DX320 (+Amp 12 and Amp 14).
Each time has been a step up in sound quality (and expense), except for the LG phones, didn't notice much from the V10 to the V60.
Now I have this beast and it just blows me away. Things sound so full and detailed and three dimensional it brings tears to my eyes. Worth every penny.

Really happy for you!
I experienced a similar thing back in the day, altough my road started with a Cowon DAP and I found true bliss in iBasso DX200 back in the day, with DX320MAX TI being a whole new level of depth and punch

I have nothing that comes close to the DX320MAX Ti. Nothing. And when my friend came over with a couple of daps that cost even more, all he said was Wow. It is a very noticeable jump up from them as well.Really happy for you!

Sorry to revisit this, but is there any reason you can't use a USB 5V to 12V conversion cable like so: https://www.amazon.com/CCYC-Voltage-Converter-Supply-Adapter/dp/B07HQ91HHV? Still seems to supply enough amperage (0.8-1A). Or does it absolutely have to be USB-C/PD?OK, so we are talking about DX320 MAX Ti charging. This was suggested by Vince (@Whitigir), I just got it, and confirmed it to work perfectly!
As many are aware, MAX needs 2 cables, regular usb-c for a digital battery and 12VDC for an analog battery. What does this mean? Carrying 2 chargers, including bulky 12V wall charger, not as much fun especially when you are traveling.
But, its 12V DC input can work of 15V as well, and I think it was mentioned up to 18V would be OK, but 15V probably better.
There are chipped PD usb-c cables with a fixed voltage output since PD output can vary depending on a target device. I got this cable by DSD TECH, only $10.99 on Amazon, and it does the job! Charges without a problem and doesn't overheat. It even comes with an optional connector for DIY wiring of other tips, but you don't need it because the tip of this cable is already 5.5mm x 2.5mm and it fits DX320 MAX Ti perfectly!
Just need USB charger with a dual output of PD and USB-C. I'm using one of my old 60W RAWPower dual chargers, but there are plenty of others. Just make sure one port is PD compliant and the charger supports 60W for higher voltage output, including extra margin. Looks a lot cleaner and more portable nowWith my usb-c charging monitor, I confirmed it works at 15V, drawing only 0.5A of current.

Why are there so many Ti max in classifieds?

Look at their reasons and there aren't really that many. I see one that says they want to go for a desktop setup. Frankly, the 320MAX will beat most desktop dap system, easily. But there is a lot on the for sale classifieds of everything. People have different needs. Why are there so many Ti max in classifieds?![]()

Max being limited in number creates a high sense of FOMO. The Ibasso experience can be an acquired taste, as it's all about the sound and less about the design of unit. Plus the new volume can take a lot to get used to.
