Will send it back to Jaben.

It is rather uncanny that it displays the same fault with both my DX320 and DX300.
It seems your issue will be resolved. You can always email me at paul@ibasso.com.

I update my FW pretty religiously. That was the first thing that occured to me when the issue first manifested itself in early March. Thanks!

I even did a factory reset. :)

You must remember that mine worked well for about a month or so. Until it failed. That's where it was different from your case.
Same with me. Initially all was good with my amp14, then it wasn’t.

The fact that it happens with the dx300 and dx320 does point to the amp14. I’m sure Paul wants to know what’s going on.

What was the issue with Amp14? I’ve rarely used mine, I’m wondering if I should for a while soon just in case!

Thanks! Yes, especially when other amp modules work perfectly well with both the DX300 and DX320. But not the Amp14.

In my case, it wouldn’t produce any sound unless I restarted the DX320X and played with the volume control. We thought it was a contact issue, but I tried using it without a face plate and doing a few other things. It didn’t do it with my non X 320. Paul sent me a new one and all is good. I haven’t heard about why it happened. I think it was a super rare, funky issue. I wouldn’t be concerned. IBasso stands behind their customer service.

@Paul - iBasso

I had sent my Amp14 module back to your Singapore AD, Zeppelin, via the retailer. There were no updates at all and suddenly today the Amp14 was sent back to Jaben. I assumed all had been fixed. Though there was no explanation whatsoever the issue was.

I brought it home and plugged into the DX320. OMG! This issue was still there! I thought maybe I will charge. No change. I then switched back to the default amp module and there was no issues (see second photo below). NOTHING had changed! I am shocked at the level of service. Is this from your AD or is it from the IBasso team?

I was thinking of getting the DX320 MAX Ti in due course. But perhaps not, since iBasso does not take its customers seriously. I think DX300 and DX320 will be enough. Seriously annoyed!

Where can I get that wallpaper?

Now when I think about it, what if those extra knobs on the 320Max as pictured means switching Amplifier ? Like Korg-tubes modes, Opamps Modes, hybrid modes, and or Discrete Amp modes ?

Earlier I said “ 100% digital and 71% analogue “, in error. I meant to say 100% analogue & 71% digital, far as the lopsided battery drainage goes. Urban HiFi, the distributor, and ibasso followed up saying it’s normal.

That said, what about the packaging? Again, I bought new from Urban HiFi, a 3rd party vendor on Amazon. I have Amazon Prime, so I’m protected against loss for up to 30 days after purchase. Nonetheless, if I may ask, does ibasso wrap and seal their DAP’s or nah? Seems odd to me to ship em’ raw and unsealed, as pictured. Exception of DuNu, all the headphone & electronic gear that I’ve bought, NIB, has been wrapped n’ sealed 🤔 Holla’ back if you bought your Dx320 or Dx320X new in box. Let me know if it was wrapped n’ sealed. Much appreciated.

That would be interesting indeed. I recall you always do a tear down. I would wait for your verdict before I do anything in respect the Max :)

Unwrapped.

All the amp module boxes came unwrapped. Dx320 and dx320x had a screen sticker on them. The accessories and case were in plastic envelopes.
