Gonna assume its the same one that came with the amp13. It a good one but not great for the Edition X, still waaaaay better than the original tpu case without the curvature around the wheel.

Why don't iBasso just sell these accessories? I'm sure me and others would purchase color cases option plates etc. I'm looking for the black leather or pleather case. Not gauranteed to get a black case if i order AMP 12 these days

You can probably get the one you want if you send Paul a message. I've used facebook messenger in the past to communicate with him. It's how I got the cb-16 cable (not sure this cable ever sold on the US market), the amp13 and the amp14. Surely they have a couple of extra tpu or leather cases they can sell individually as replacements.

That's 1 vrms above the amp13, not to shabby. Seems like on this amp has phone out and line out rather than two phone out like on the amp13.

Why bypass the Korg tube? Like isn't that the point of the amp? Does the line out on the amp12 also bypass the amp entirely? I don't use them so it's not something I care about but I'm curious as to the reasoning behind that decision.

Ha, yeah i turned tap to wake off. Was giving me issues with waking from sleep. I guess i'm more concerned with the firmware changing the sound. Trying to see if i should stay on 2.01 or update to 2.03.

That is a tough one.

I have reverted back to 2.01 for recalibrating my baseline senses. The high dynamic range of 2.03 is one stand out feature. Some additional playback time is needed before I can draw an opinionated conclusion. It wasn’t the 2.01 slam dunk I anticipated.

Yes it does on Amp12. People complained about the stock amp not being a "true" LO so iBasso made one..
