I told myself the same thing. I felt like I was crazy to spend over 1k on Iems but now have no regrets. You take care of them they will last a very long time. There is a big difference between low-fi/mid-fi and hi-fi. Once you go hi-fi there is no going back. I waited until I could get a good price used and then liked them so much I bought a spare set used because they are limited production. That spare is not used in storage - $1200/1800 new. I only have 3 different Iems and that is all I am going to buy. I paid just over $600 for my Dx260 with its 2 leather cases used mint condition. The cases alone new were over $125 and one has never been used. Keep an eye on classifieds and wait for a good deal.Hi,
You are right, at this price it deserves a better IEM. But I can't bring myself to spend so much on earphones
Anyway thanks for your recommandation![]()
If you do things right music is one of the best value hobbies. Think of the hours of enjoyment you can get. Better than any vacation. The Dx260 really shines with good iems. If you go cheap you are missing out. Get a good set of used iems and be done. No buying the next new thing and selling for a loss.
