Sound will be better if you pair dx260 with mojo 2
It is a matter of opinion, as usual. I prefer the detail, black background and dynamics of the DX260. I use both IEMs and headphones.

Hello, is the player compatible with 2TB SD cards please?
There aren't any out, that I know of but the standard is up to and including 2tb, when available.

Hello, did someone compare dx260 to chord mojo2 ? Thanks

Not that I know of, but a local reviewer Lachlan just systematically compared the Poly/Mojo 2 combo with the Fiio M23. Although the M23 isn't quite as detailed and holographic as the DX260 (I own both), it's not terribly far off sound-wise, and Lachlan's comparison might still be helpful.

To be honest I’m not sure if I’m liking the dx260…to me is not as detailed on high frequencies, sometime congested and a cold timbre. Not so musical and not engaging.
Going to order a fiio m23 and one of the two will be returned.

According to my observations, the headphones are essentially decisive for the sound. I think that headphones influence at least 85% of the sound perception.

For example, I use the DX260 with a Beyerdynamic Xelento Remote 2nd generation. The resolution is brutally precise and the sound is flawless and absolutely musical.

I also use Denon AH-D9200 closed headphones. A soft, silky sound. High-quality, unobtrusive fine details in all frequency ranges.

If it has to be without a cable, I use a B&W Px8. Of course not really comparable with headphones with a cable, but cleanly divided frequencies without peaks or missing details. Overall unagitated and with punch.

Sounds like you just want the M23 and feel the need to justify it to yourself 😆. I can dig it; I want one too, in stainless steel. But I’m really happy with the DX260; it’s all about synergy and the way you hear things and with what..and maybe I’ll just get an M23, because.. I love daps.

I don’t want one, really. No reason. It’s big and I’m not a fiio fan, I returned a k9 pro ess.

Mojo 2 or topping dx9
mojo 2 is not better, it colors sound more, making it warmer and treble boosted and add a lot of noise same time. Feels like v shaped sound.

fiio k9 ess pro same story, just less colored source
