Hi guys! I need a little help.🙂
I’m looking for a dap with an analoge vacum tube sound, warm, thick, fun, big bass! (For my og empy) Is the Cayin n6ii A01 good?
Dethonray Pegasus sg1 Gold. It isnt a dap but bluetooth dac/amp but its the smoothest and warmest portable ive tried. Its still clean and separated, not muddy at all.

I tried the DC Elite for a short while and didn't like it's flat soundstage, it was quite bad, making it's detail unenjoyable imo.
I assume you are serious, but are you serious? It has an excellent sound stage that is layered with every good depth and width. I would try a different Elite.

Sorry I have to step in here 😁 I have both hiby r6 pro ii and dx260.. dx260 a different class.. I loved hiby r6 2020 and r6 iii. Dx260 after 100 hrs plus is far superior to r6 pro ii. That's for full sized headphones.

"Dx260 after 100 hrs plus is far superior to r6 pro ii"- the correct wording of this statement should be: "Dx260 has far stronger amp section than the r6 pro ii".

Hi everyone. I'm looking to get a tempered glass protector for the DX260. Can anyone confirm if the screen size is the same as other 5 inch iBasso players?
I'm struggling to find protectors for the DX260, but there are plenty for other models.

Why not N3 Ultra?

Unfortunately so. I'll try with a few other sources like @RIGATIO mentioned.

Top synergy: The transparency and fidelity of the DX260 with its immersive and holographic soundstage, paired with the relaxed tuning of the DUNU SA6 MkII with its captivating mid range, soothing treble and punchy yet controlled bass.... I'd call it ear porn .

I plan to buy a dx260 device. but before that, I'll ask if you have any annoying problems with either the sw or hw part. how would you describe his voice? what are your strongest competitors from other manufacturers?
Definitely a great player and worth the investment
I have encountered a slight software problem with gapless playback in pure mango where the last track played has its end snipped
Turn gapless off and no issues.
I have reported this to ibasso who are apparently looking into it and hopefully the next software update will sort out.
I intend to chase this up fairly soon

In my opinion, the FiiO M15S and Hiby R6 Pro II are better sounding, mainly in the dynamics and soundstage department.

Software should be fine, it's been a long time since any android dap has bothered me with slow UI or glaring bugs.

I looked at Hiby R6 Pro II, I like it better than dx260. bigger screen, better cpu-less consumption, android 12 instead of 11 and, as I read, better sound quality.
