Or, just go here: https://apkpure.com/google-play-store/com.android.vending and download Google Play Store apk, then install it on your DX240, and no need to worry about APKPure

You may need to use the 660 Tool, which is like the Android Tool for earlier Ibasso daps. It will wipe the internal memory and then you install a .img firmware that they supply and then you will need to update to the latest firmware. I would contact Ibasso.wiped it, went into apkpure, clicked an app and hit the install icon. itll grey out then nothing happens. chrome and stuff thats already installed wont update and nothing will install.
Or do what Twister6 suggests above.
had no idea this was an option! everything works again now. thanks!Or, just go here: https://apkpure.com/google-play-store/com.android.vending and download Google Play Store apk, then install it on your DX240, and no need to worry about APKPure

It's been doing that lately. Go to Apps and Notifications in Android Settings, select APKPure -> Storage and Cache -> Clear Storage. This worked for me.turned on my dx240 for the first time in a few months as I am returning to office tomorrow. I cant get APKPure to work? It wont install or update anything and I delete a few apps to reinstall cause it wouldnt update, and now they are gone. Anyone know what the issue is? I also just updated the firmware to the newest version.

Regarding my earlier burn-in question I contacted iBasso for clarification, below is my question and iBassos reply;
Hello,
I have just bought the DX240 and have a question regarding the Burn-in procedure.
Can I leave the unit plugged in to the wall socket for power while I complete the burn-in task?
Will this damage the internal batteries at all?
Thanks.

Hello,
Yes, you can plug the DX240 into the wall socket when you are burning in the DX240. It would not damage the battery.

I tested my DX 240 / Amp8 with my Kennerton JM Edition already very dynamic, it does not sound as good as with my Shanling M8 which sounds more natural and go much further in depth and is much more balanced we are not on the same level, price is as well different...
I bought the DX 240 to go with my ZMF VC which hopefully will sound good as it does not with the M8, I am still in burning process.

I have a problem. I swapped over to the amp8mk2 amp very carefully. I am on the latest 1.02.267 software. I have reset the player and finally I have switched it on and off. I still have no sound. Any suggestions?
Has anyone received the MOD Amp?
I received mine today and will post my thoughts here after letting it burn in. Early impressions are hugely positive... I don't want to stop listening.Has anyone received the MOD Amp?
