I don’t have the HD600, but have the HD660s. They pair up well with the DX200/amp4s. I have the 650, but not tried them yet as they keep finding their way into my sons room lol. If I get back in time tomorrow I could give em a try and see how well they pair up.

Yeah! If you are listening to amp4s you won’t dream about amp7 or amp8. My amp3 and amp5 are now catching dust!

I think most like it as it comes. It's just that I like it SO much more with Amp 4

I owned both amp3 and amp4s. Still like the Amp1 better than both 3 and 4s. So you aren't alone my friend.

Amp1 balanced is still very good, the whole Amp1 clearly beats the others in terms of usability and versatility. I had both Amp4 and 4s - btw 4 is by far more balanced sound wise (and honestly, better then Amp1), but still sticking to Amp1 for now.

So I'm currently using a pair of beyerdynamic t1 headphones, via balanced cable. With the dx200 (amp card 1.)

But because the cans are so power hungry at 600 ohms, I'm trying to find something that can output more power. Something like a new amp card, special cabling (which I've seen being talked about but have no idea what is is) or a new DAP altogether. (Side note: I don't want to add an external portable amp as I only want to be using one device. I don't like the bulkiness and hassle of two devices stuck together)

So any suggestions or advice is appreciated.

I have a pentacon 4.4mm balanced and dont understand why ibasso discontinued amp 4 its not on sale no more.
