Very interesting, so it seems like the "special" bass character of the DN-2000J is still present with the new models, which is a really good thing imho - haven't come across any other hybrid IEM yet that has the same special bass which combines speed with tactility and body (DN-2000J's lows strongly remind me of my LCD-X's).

DUNU 4 Driver, 5 Driver new Hybrid earphone presentation on 2015 the 22nd Beijing International Hi-Fi Exhibition

nice report, I've forwarded it to our engineering team, thanks for the first feedback from real audiophiles
I'm reposting this from the CanJam Singapore impressions thread.
Like you I had a vested interest in what Dunu had to offer. I had a little time (~10 minutes each) with them in the LMUE booth. Source was AK100ii (known to be neutral, transparent, slightly bass-light). Teo reminded me that they are prototypes and not the finished product. So just take these preliminary impressions as just that.
DN2002: The most accomplished of the bunch. Slight W-shaped sig with bass emphasis, treble detail and a bit vocal forward. The dynamic bass was lovely. Good slam and natural decay, very little or no bleed into the mids. Treble detail is very good and smooth. Narrow stage. The most coherent of the Dunus I auditioned.
DN3001: Treble-heavy, and on the brighter side of things. Bass is very fast with a much lighter punch than 2002, I thought the sound wasn't very balanced and sometimes the treble can be peaky and piercing. Maybe great for detail-heads but I couldn't wait to change to another IEM.
DN4001: It has the airiest sound, and widest and deepest stage of the three. The bass reminded me of the 2002 bass. Natural, bloomy, great authority and just the right amount of decay. The 4BAs, work in tandem to produce a sweet, detailed sound, without the harshness of the 3001. But here's the thing. I felt that the DD and BAs were each doing their own thing. Not very coherent. But Teo did mention this is still some time away from being the final release product, so I hope to see this improved. Much potential to be a contender though.
Hope this helps in the slightest. The 2002 was apparently the meet favorite with many people liking it.
EDIT: For comparison's sake, they do not reach the standard of FLC8 yet.
EDIT 2: Teo from LMUE: SUPER nice guy. My first line to him was, "hi! I buy your stuff!"

Hi,
Was at canjam singapore and listened to dunu 4001 first. As the environment was noisy and the fit didnt really worked for me i could hear the dunu house sound but wasnt that impressed. Moving on to 3001 it wasnt impressive as well and i received a tip that 2002 was actually the most impressive one and it is! Detailed highs and great mids, gotta love the clarity on this and i think at least 4 people i spoke to loved this pair too.
I own the dunu 2k and will most likely buy the 2002 when its out prices around 500+sgd which is close to the flcs pricing i guess.

That's right, the noisy environment may affect the sound quality of DK3001 and DK4001 since these 2 are kind of semi-open design with a hole on the cavity. I'll report your comment to engineering group and they'll do improvement.
DN2002 received most positive feedback from audiophiles, we are more confident with it now.

One more thing, I have the Titan 3 at home, and it matches very well with the Sony ZX2 player (a warmer, smoother sound), but not very good with the AK100ii (a drier, brighter and more analytical sound).
For the new Dunus, maybe there might be a better sound from different sources. Looking back I wish I had the time to try the new Dunus with my ZX2. The outcome might be different. I would suggest whoever tried the new Dunus in Canjam to mention their source/player as well, because I see a lot of potential in the new Dunus, especially the 4001. The staging and imaging are very good!

Show conditions so my impressions may vary. I listened to DN2000J for a minute in Canjam to see if I was missing anything. Very good bass detail, but the new guys 2002 and 4001 have a bit more bass slam/impact.
A very good point! can you guys pay attention to it as well

I'm excited to hear that they were the shows favorite,..it's the one I've been most excited about.

Since most of the people like DN-2002 , it might be the final version release around April.
Price around $369

Had recently heard the titans 3,5,2kj - each having their own identity/tuning.
Can't wait to read more impressions (can't wait to audition them as well), thanks for sharing your experiences peeps!

How do you guys like them(3 models) released, one by one, or all together ?

All together. Why? Because we trust you to put out the iems. Somewhere out there there's little Timmy that wants 2 dynamic drivers whereas Sally wants four BAs... I think you all did well with the last 2 titans being released together.
The only argument I can perhaps think of in not wanting them to be released together is if one of them isn't finalized to your team's satisfaction...
That said...BRING THEM ON!
