Hi there,
 
I´m about to make some interconnects for my amp and DAC using some Mogami 2534 cable and wanted to ask you guys a detail about the shielding.
The Mogami 2534 has 4 cables and 1 shielding foil.
By shielding the source end, do I have to sold the foil of the cable to one of the RCA connector´s ground (left or right) or both?

Are you planning to use a single cable for both channels?
I would generally recommend against it (doesn't look as nice, adds crosstalk, etc), use a separate cable with 2 wires per channel and use the shield as you wish.

Yes, was planning to use only one cable and, just for curiosity, wanted to know what to do with only the one foil of the 2534 and the two grounds.  
 
Can you recommend other good -affordable- well shielded copper cable for IC?
Or just two pieces of 2534 using the 4 cables for each connector?

Use 2534.
 
As for shielded cable, personally, I have never gotten absolutely any noise from unshielded (but twisted) cables in any of my setups.

What about the Mogami W2549 or the light duty W2552? Wouldn´t be easier to work with these ones instead of the quad 2534?
